Compassion Meals

 

Compassion Meals is a woman of color owned business run by a 26 year old entrepreneur Nkoyo Adakama who left her modeling career to pursue her passion for Veganisam. She serves up the tastiest Vegan comfort food classics in the world and is known for her oh so popular Vegan Fried Chick’n! She has plans to open up her first brick and mortar in Northern California this year so be on look out!

Nick's Kitchen

Reina Montenegro was born and raised in Dumaguete City on the Philippine island of Negros,and moved to the Bay Area in 1997. Montenegro prides herself as being self-taught in the kitchen, and started her restaurant career as a personal chef and caterer in 2012 when she decided, after 10 years at a corporate job, to follow her passion for food and cooking. In 2016, she opened ‘Nick’s Kitchen’ in Daly
City. A year later her and her partner realized it was not going to survive, so Montenegro changed the concept to be aligned with her plant based diet and cruelty free lifestyle; as the first Filipino Vegan restaurant in the Peninsula.

Om Sabor

 

The Om Sabor experience is brought to us by San Francisco locals Dhanistha and Luis Alfredo, who have learned how to combine their creativity and extensive knowledge of the food service industry to bring a healthy and positive dining atmosphere to people. As major art and music lovers Dhani and Luis Alfredo have figured out a brilliant way to merge these elements with the quality vegan food they provide: The Om Bus. The Om Bus is an iconic, colorful staple in the vegan pop-up community that hosts a bar, DJ booth and area for dancing all in one!

Planted Table

 

Planted Table is for anyone who wants heart-healthy, plant-based meals but doesn’t have the time or desire to cook themselves. It’s like having your own, personal Chef. All of our ingredients are completely natural, and of the highest quality available. We use no animal products and only organic produce. Meals are completely vegan.

Every meal is made from scratch in a completely vegan kitchen. It’s just like you would prepare in your own home, only in much larger portions. Our meals are nutritionally designed and perfectly portioned to fuel your body with the optimal amount of nutrients in the form of clean, whole, real foods.

The Vegan Hood Chefs

Ronnishia Johnson and Rheema Calloway are The Vegan Hood Chefs. They specialize in turning many of our soul food and American style favorites into delicious vegan meals. Their passion for community organizing, creativity, and food has allowed them to launch a food initiative to help fight against food justice and social inequity within the San Francisco community. These chefs have recognized how nutrition education and access to healthy foods has contributed to the health conditions of many communities of color.

Vegan Van

 

I started Vegan Van because of my kids. I was fed up with what I was seeing from a health standpoint in the world.  I saw people I knew suffering from diseases that, once I did the research, I found were preventable.  I was sick and tired of being and feeling unhealthy and saw first hand trauma that truly made me rethink my health decisions. I have an extreme interest in changing the culture of my community. African decedents here in America have a history that has led us into some pretty terrible health conditions and it's time for that to change. 

Conscious Creamery

Conscious Creamery Craft Dairy-Free Gelato contains absolutely no dairy, eggs or animal products of any kind. It is created in small batches beginning with organic raw cashews, filteredwater, organic raw cane sugar (and organic maple syrup and/or organic coconut palm sugar depending upon the flavor) and love in our vegan commercial kitchen. Our recipes are developed in-house, free of artificial fillers, stabilizers, flavors or colors.

Crepe Hearts

Serving sweet and savory crepes to ALL! We offer a full menu dedicated to being 100% plant based, gluten free, soy free, nut free and made with love.

 

Our mission is to push the boundaries of the food-service industry, by using only organic products, non-GMO ingredients without pesticides and preservatives. All our food is made from scratch, in house because we truly are passionate about good tasting food!

Hilary Knight Parker is a brilliant San Francisco based baker who focuses on the sweeter side of veganism. She's best known for her vegan, home baked signature cupcakes, but also creates a variety of pasties and other sweet treats as well for all vegans and non-vegans alike to spoil their tastebuds with.

VGN shakes (formerly Healthy Milkshakes) was founded in 2018 with a strong desire to increase access to prepared whole-foods that are free from pesticides, GMOs, animal abuse and highly processed ingredients.

The Cashew-base of our shakes was hand-crafted to be rich in plant protein, fiber and nutrients, while still being easy to digest. Our shakes provide your body with the fuel it needs to get up & shake it!
